John Cory

John Cory is the owner of Prairie Mills Products, which he bought in 2006. Prairie Mills Products owns various brands including E-Z-Bake, Southern Plantation, Dorsels, and Wilson’s. Mr. Cory has presided over significant growth in all the various business units of Prairie Mills. Prior to Prairie Mills Products, Mr. Cory had a remarkably varied background. Mr. Cory was a commodity trader in the early 1980s in Chicago with Drexel Burnham Lambert. He also had a twenty plus year career in investment banking and private equity with what is now JP Morgan Chase. Mr. Cory was also a founder of one of Indiana’s leading private equity firms. He is also active in several food and agricultural initiatives in third world countries, particularly on the continent of Africa, and in Kenya in particular.
