Jeff Champa

Chief Operating Officer

Jeff Champa serves as Chief Operating Officer and Principal Valuation Analyst at Pellegrino & Associates, LLC. He has a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and has completed graduate courses in analog and digital communications and software design. Mr. Champa provides valuation consulting services and intangible asset appraisals for a variety of purposes. He also conducts project valuations, market analyses, and financial analyses.

Mr. Champa has held leadership roles at several technology companies at the executive level as a product management and operations leader. In these roles, Mr. Champa was instrumental in setting strategic direction, understanding customer needs, building business plans, steering product roadmaps, and setting the investment profile for R&D budgets. He has also made M&A recommendations and led the integration of successful acquisition targets, including integrating product portfolios and launching cross-sell campaigns to realize the value of the acquisitions.

Mr. Champa has managed full life cycle product development of several SaaS and embedded systems for both small and large corporations across a wide range of industries, including transportation, public safety, education, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and hospitality. Throughout his career, he has filled several technical positions, including System Architect, System Engineer, Software Engineer, and Electrical Engineer.

As a product development engineer, Mr. Champa gained considerable expertise in developing embedded systems for automotive, agriculture, and construction industries. As such, he has experience in design with various embedded microprocessors. In addition, he has worked with several operating systems and network protocols, as well as several commercial grade wireless communication systems and technologies, including Wi-Fi, cellular, GPS, satellite, and Bluetooth. Mr. Champa was also instrumental in the qualification of products to industry standards such as CE, E-Mark, SAEJ1455, FCC, IC, and various other ISO and IEC standards.
